Friday Night Couples League — It was a windy night, but the league did get to play a great round of golf with nine couples. Scores ranged from 31 to 35 with the closest to the pin on No. 3 by John Lakas. After golf, the league had a fantastic catered dinner and then four gift certificates were awarded through a random drawing. This Friday the league will end its summer Friday get togethers for the catered dinners, so if interested in playing, please sign up or call the Vineyards at 672-7888 no later than Thursday afternoon.

Monday Night Utility League — In league play on Aug. 14, low scores were recorded by Ron Kirkby and Chris Penfold with 39s while George Allessi recorded a 40. Kirkby also took closest to the pin honors on No. 5 and had a skin on holes No. 3 and 5. B Flight skins went to Gib Snyder on holes No. 3 and 8, Terry Mahoney on No. 4, Joe Majkut on No. 6, Mike Kurmis on No. 2 and Duane Gilbert on No. 9.
