Gowanda boys track defeats Springville
GOWANDA — The Gowanda Central School varsity boys track and field team won their third dual meet of the season with a 78-53 win over Springville at Hillis Field Tuesday afternoon. Junior Austin Jankowski was a triple winner taking first place in the 110 meter high hurdles (15.9), high jump and triple jump. Classmate Andrew Musacchio won the shot put and discus throw. Other first place winners for Gowanda included: Lyle Warrior (3200 meter run), Nate Brawdy (1600 meter run) and the 4 x 800 meter relay team of Zac Nash, Christian Cook, Jacob Monat and Lyle Warrior. The Panthers will host Olean Monday afternoon beginning at 4:30 pm.
