Fredonia High School track and field star Claire Stokes signs to continue her athletic and academic career at Roberts Wesleyan College in Rochester. Following in the footsteps of another Fredonia star athlete, Jenn Suhr, who also competed in track and field at Roberts Wesleyan, Stokes said, “I’m excited, because I think it will be a good academic and athletic choice for me to get better.” Stokes added that she was excited to choose Roberts Wesleyan because she “liked their atmosphere.” She plans to study nursing at Roberts Wesleyan.
