OLEAN — The Dunkirk Marauders fell to Olean, 3-2, in the Section VI Class B1 baseball prequarterfinals at Olean High School, on Thursday.

Peyton Ahlstrom pitched 5 2/3 innings for the Marauders and gave up three runs, two earned, over nine hits, walking one and striking out five.

Nick Pantuso had two hits and Jason Brooks hit a RBI double to lead Olean offensively. While Nick Crandall threw a complete game on the mound, giving up two runs, one earned, over six hits, five walks and nine strikeouts.

Offensively for the Marauders, Nick Zatorski had three singles and two RBI, while Peyton Ahlstrom, Phil Messina and Michael Norton all recorded a single.

The Marauders finished the season with a 10-9 record.
