Dunkirk Marauders assistant baseball coach Eric Gloss had the honor of throwing out the first pitch before the Dunkirk Marauders’ non-league game at Diethrick Park against Gowanda last Saturday in Jamestown. In his 14th season with the team, Coach Gloss represents an unconditional love for the Dunkirk baseball program and all the athletic programs of the Dunkirk Public Schools. He is known throughout the county as a true supporter of all high school sports. His honest opinion and short, precise speeches before, during and after a game have inspired many players throughout the years.
