Fredonia Lady Billies swimming knocks off Panama
OBSERVER Staff Report
The Fredonia girls swimming team took down Panama 127-56 on Tuesday night in Fredonia.
Elizabeth Pucci-Schaefer, a seventh grader, continued her undefeated run in diving on the season, finishing with a score of 458.32 in eleven dives, which, if held up in a vote on October, would qualify her for the state meet. The issue with qualifying is the event was only done with two judges, and the vote in October may make State Meet qualifiers have a five judge requirement, though Schaefer’s score would still qualify her.
The Lady Billies took victory in every meet, except the 500 Free event, which was won by Panama’s Izzi Bailey. The rest of the winners are as follows.
