The North Collins Lady Eagles (10-0, 9-0) took down the Fredonia Lady Hillbillies (5-5, 5-5) in three sets, 25-12, 25-13, 25-16 in a Section VI CCAA North volleyball game at Fredonia High School, on Monday.

The Hillbillies effort was led by Marissa Cash with three aces and five digs and Nagely Vazquez with five blocks, two kills and an ace.

Fredonia will attempt to get back in the win column on Wednesday when they travel to Westfield. North Collins will look continue their hot start to the season on Wednesday when they host Gowanda.

Silver Creek 3, Westfield 0

SILVER CREEK — The Black Knights blanked Westfield (0-10, 0-10) in three sets, 25-16, 25-19, 25-11 in a Section VI CCAA North volleyball match at Silver Creek High School, on Monday.

Silver Creek’s winning effort was led by Keira Brennan with six kills and four aces, Liberty Lawton with four kills and six aces, Bailey Watroba with three kills, two blocks and two aces and Yanna Mott with five aces and eight assists.

Silver Creek will look to stay in the win column on Wednesday when they travel to Forestville and Westfield will host Fredonia on Wednesday.

Dunkirk 3, Forestville 1

The Dunkirk Marauders (7-5, 6-4) took down Forestville (2-8, 2-8) in four sets, 22-25, 25-19, 25-20, 25-16 in a Section VI CCAA North volleyball game at Dunkirk High School, on Monday.

After the Lady Marauders dropped the first set to the Lady Hornets, they won three in a row to get the big win.

Dunkirk was led by Keit Lopez with five aces, Nadara O’Dell with four aces, 11 kills and one block, Amari Carter with six kills, one ace and one block and Gina Salerno with six aces and one kill.

Dunkirk is back in action on Wednesday at Cassadaga Valley. Forestville will attempt to get back in the win column today when they travel to Catt-Little Valley.
