The 48th annual John S. Tofil Memorial Inter Club Bowling Tournamnet was held Saturday at Lucky Lanes. Nine local clubs sent 16 bowlers into this year’s action.

The Columbus Club was this year’s dinner host. The First Ward Flacon Club defended their title and won their third consecutive championship.

They were followed by the Columbus Club, Conservation Club, Beaver Club and the Moniusko Club.

The top bowler of the day was Ben Montague, who rolled a tourney game of 268 and received the Lou Nocek award for high series at 737. Other top bowlers were Tom Bataglia (698), Phil Maslak (692), Trisha Laurito (258), and Scott Herdzik (255).

The event will take place again next year on the first Saturday of March and will be hosted by the Dom Polski Club.
