The Beaty girls seventh grade basketball team defeated Sheffield on Tuesday 22-15.

Beaty was down 13-12 after three quarters, but turned up the defense in the fourth, resulting in multiple steals and fast-break points. Meea Irwin, Leyna Irwin and JoJo Gray combined for all 10 fourth-quarter points. Peyton Wotorson led Sheffield with 11 points. On Wednesday the seventh graders beat Brookville, 28-23. Meea Irwin led the way with 15 points and Leyna Irwin added 10 for the Lady Dragons.

The Beaty girls eight grade team defeated Brookville, 45-4. Alana Stuart led the way with 14 points, Alyssa Farr 12, Lindsay Madigan 11, Lily Walker 4, Katie Krogler and Morgan Alexander each had 2.

Beaty travels to Eisenhower today.
