Silver Creek boys, Forestville girls prevail

Nate Barlette-Dye’s 210-549 led Silver Creek to a 3-1 victory over Forestville in Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association Division 2 boys bowling at Lucky Lanes.

Damien Evans added a 170-488 and Kyle Mullen had a 170 game for the Black Knights, who finished with a 732-707-697-2,163.

Brayden Smith rolled a 220-554 and Aydon Heim a 149 game for the Hornets, who rolled a 660-748-660-2,068.

Forestville won the girls match, 4-0, thanks to a 213-534 from Lilly VanArsdale.

Dakota VanArsdale chipped in a 175-468 for the Hornets, who rolled a line score of 589-605-684-1,878.

Emily Barlette-Dye had a 181 game and Laneya Olsen rolled a 166 for the Black Knights, who finished with a 564-457-446-1,467.

FREDONIA BOYS ROLL

CUTTING — Owen Rush rolled a 177-205-520 and Ryan Kelly had a 214-185-505 for Fredonia in a 4-0 Division 1 sweep of Chautauqua Lake at Cutting Lanes.

Zach Kawski added a 191 game for the Hillbillies (22-2), who finished with an 855-817-760-2,432.

Chandler Nuse had the high game for the Thunderbirds (2-22), who finished with a 406-378-422-1,212.

GOWANDA SWEEPS A PAIR

GOWANDA — Johnny Smuda had a 234 game and Drew Shull added a 223 as Gowanda swept West Valley, 4-0, in Division 3 action at K&L Lanes.

The Panthers (9-7) finished with a team series of 2,600.

The Gowanda girls also won with a sweep and a total series of 1,925. Cam Nagel had a 168-414 and Cami Clark had a season-best 130 game for the Panthers (8-8).

Gowanda will host Senior Night on Tuesday.
