Rishel sets MG series record at 697 in sweep of Westfield; Stow rolls 441

JAMESTOWN — Keegan Rishel set a new Maple Grove series record with a 697 set as the Red Dragons beat Westfield 4-0 in Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association Division 2 boys bowling action at Jamestown Bowling Company on Wednesday.

Rishel had games of 255 and 256 en route to his record performance. Logan Crist added a 206-248-624 as the Red Dragons finished with a linescore of 860-694-818-2,372.

Tahner Stow’s 203-441 led the Wolverines to a 556-548-455-1,559.

CHRISTENSEN SPINS 649 SET

JAMESTOWN — Jack Christensen’s 202-235-212-649 led Jamestown as the Red Raiders split 2-2 with Southwestern at Jamestown Bowling Company.

Marco LoBello added a 190-253-203-646 and Diesel Cowen had a 215-488 as Jamestown finished with a linescore of 716-973-788-2,477.

Kole Lyon’s 181-182-521 led Southwestern, while Bryce Simon had a 201-456 and Andrew Drake chipped in a 199 game. The Trojans finished with a 773-779-789-2,341.

KERSTETTER LEADS HORNETS

FREWSBURG — Andrea Kerstetter rolled a 178-451 to lead Forestville to a 3-1 defeat of Frewsburg in Division 2 girls action at Frewsburg Lanes.

The Hornets (9-3) finished with a linescore of 563-512-418-1,493.

Kelsey Fischer’s 156-158-463 sent the Bears (9-3) to a 487-484-448-1,419.

In the boys match, Tyler Waughs 163-455 led Forestville to a 4-0 sweep.

Tucker Merritt added a 170-442 for the Hornets (8-4), who finished with a 688-670-737-2,095.

Cash Steward’s 447 led the Bears (5-7) to a 617-540-611-1,768.

SMITH ROLLS 580 SERIES

CUTTING — Christopher Smith’s 163-225-192-580 powered Randolph past Chautauqua Lake 4-0 in Division 2 boys action at Cutting Lanes.

Aydan Eccles added a 198-511 for the Cardinals, who finished with a linescore of 747-772-757-2,276.

Dayne Jantzi’s 350 paced the Eagles to a 591-480-537-1,608.

In the girls match, Alyssa Milks had a 209-456 as Randolph won 3-1.

Nickola Whitford added a 177 game for the Cardinals, who finished with a 548-601-484-1,633.

Alanna Delcamp’s 177-462 led the Eagles to a 575-516-474-1,565.
