Tonelli, Polhamus lead Fredonia to 6-0 victory

SILVER CREEK — Cecelia Tonelli netted a hat trick and Mady Polhamus scored twice as Fredonia blanked Silver Creek/Forestville 6-0 in nonleague girls soccer Friday.

Tonelli scored twice from Polhamus and once from Callie Draggett to complete her hat trick in the first half.

After halftime, Polhamus scored from Tonelli twice and Aria Russo scored from Sophia Hunt.

Naomi Muck made four saves in the clean sheet for the Hillbillies (4-1-0).

The Black Knights fell to 2-2-0.

BEARS WIN IN OVERTIME

ALLEGANY — Audrey Eckwahl scored twice, including the game-winning goal in the 18th minute of overtime as Frewsburg beat Allegany-Limestone 2-1 in nonleague play.

Madison Honeck scored the first goal of the game in the first minute.

Eckwahl answered in the 25th minute and then scored the winner from Charlie Lombardo in the second 10-minute overtime session.

Elysse Gruber made 12 saves for the Bears (3-1-0) and Kenna MacArthur made three saves for the Gators (1-5-0).

HUSKIES BLANK SALAMANCA

SALAMANCA — Olean scored a goal in each half to beat Salamanca 2-0 in nonleague play.

Ava Finch scored from Alaina Eaton in the first half and Addison Crosson scored from Lily Eaton in the second half for the Huskies (1-4-1).

The Warriors fell to 1-4-0.

RANDOLPH EDGES RED & GREEN

JAMESTOWN — Gianna Bowles scored the eventual game-winning goal from 30 yards out as Randolph beat Jamestown 2-1 in nonleague action.

The Cardinals (4-1-0) took a 1-0 lead on a corner kick before Bowles’ goal.

Jamestown’s Payton Gibbs scored unassisted to make it 2-1 in the second half.

JaLeiya Glover made four saves for the Red & Green (0-4-1).
