FREDONIA — The foursome of George and Pam Allessi and Pete and Amada Krakowiak were no match for the high temperatures as they scorched the front nine of the Vineyards Golf Course with a 6-under-par 30 in the Friday Night Couples League. CORTLAND — Five area residents competed in track & field events at the Empire State Senior Games at SUNY Cortland last month. Suffice it to say, they made Chautauqua County proud. Leading the way was Kay Gould of Blockville.
