NEWARK — An eight-run fifth inning propelled Jamestown to a 10-6 come-from-behind victory over Newark in a Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League contest on Thursday night before 100 fans at Colburn Park. The win, which raised the Tarp Skunks’ record to 4-1, was highlighted by two hits apiece from Blake Herman and Joaquin Rodriguez-Costa (double); a solo home run from James Dixon; and a double and two RBIs from Caleb Jordan. CHAUTAUQUA — It was another pristine day at Chautauqua Golf Club on Thursday with round three of the National Junior College Athletic Association Division III Men's and Women's National Championships, hosted by Jamestown Community College. For the women, the Jayhawks’ Cadence Rodgers fought her way into the top 18 through 54 holes with a 98, her best round of the tournament.
