NEW YORK (AP) — Baseball Commissioner Rob Manfred worries the owners' salary cap proposal could lead to a work stoppage like the one that caused the cancellation of the 1994 World Series and says the plan is needed because management concluded that the luxury tax system in place since 2003 no longer is working. Fredonia High School hosting sports camps

Fredonia High School will be hosting youth sports camps in late June and July. The first camp offered will be a flag football camp Thursday, June 25 through Saturday, June 27. The camp will run 5-8 p.m. Thursday and Friday, and 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday at Wheelock Primary School. It is available to any school-age child. The cost of the camp is $75 or $125 for two family members. All campers receive a T-shirt with awards to be presented to age-level winners.
