Lew Mead fishing tourney is Saturday

The Cassadaga Lakes Association is hosting the 33rd annual Lew Mead Memorial Youth Fishing Tournament on Saturday, June 27 with a rain date of Sunday, June 28. Fishing begins at 7 a.m. with awards scheduled for 11 a.m. at the NYSDEC boat launch on Dale Drive on the middle lake in Cassadaga. No fishing license is necessary and the event is free to all youth. Age groups include: 7 years and under, 8-10 years, 11-13 years and 14-16 years. A grand prize will be awarded for the largest overall fish.
