Sinclairville man injured after striking tree head-on

STOCKTON – A Sinclairville man was sent by helicopter to UPMC Hamot Hospital in Erie after a crash Sunday morning on Route 380.

Chautauqua County sheriff’s deputies responded to a personal injury traffic accident before 2 a.m. Operator Andrew Olson, 29, was traveling south when he veered off the north side of the road and struck a tree head-on. Olson sustained a severe lower leg injury as a result of the crash.

He was air lifted for treatment. Stockton Fire/EMS, Alstar Ambulance, and Starflight helicopter assisted at the scene.
