New York State Police at Collins report the Bureau of Criminal Investigation charged Walter M. Ten area individuals have been arrested by the city of Dunkirk Police Department following a coordinated investigation into a series of larcenies committed at local cemeteries. Beginning in October, the Dunkirk Police Department received a report of thefts involving a large number of bronze vases and other grave markers taken from gravesites at Willowbrook Cemetery in the city of Dunkirk. A Christmas Eve domestic incident led to a number of charges against a man in the city of Dunkirk. City police reported Monday that at 12:54 a.m. Dec. 24, they responded to an address on Lincoln Avenue for a report of a dispute with a suspect in possession of a knife. An investigation determined that Joshua Sanchez, no age given, allegedly attacked two adult females, and a 9-year-old juvenile.
