MAYVILLE – A Brocton resident who worked as a corrections officer is facing charges for allegedly selling drugs to inmates. In October of 2025, the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division was requested by the Chautauqua County Jail Administration to investigate suspicious activity of an employee at the Chautauqua County Jail. CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE – Daryl D. Dunagan, 57, of Georgetown, NY has been charged with petit larceny. On Dec. 9 around 6 p.m. deputies responded to a business on Shortman Road in the town of Ripley for a past tense shoplifting complaint. It is alleged that Dunagan took merchandise and consumable goods from the business on multiple occasions. Jamestown woman pleads guilty in federal drug case

A Jamestown woman has pleaded guilty to her involvement in a drug conspiracy. U.S. Attorney Michael DiGiacomo announced Thursday that Susan Walker, 31, made the admission before the U.S. District Judge John L. Sinatra Jr. to conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute — and to distribute — 40 grams or more of fentanyl, which carries a mandatory minimum penalty of five years in prison, a maximum of 40 years, and a fine of $5 million. A Jamestown man has been sentenced to time served for selling and distributing drugs. U.S. Attorney Michael DiGiacomo announced that James Brandow, 37, who was convicted of conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute, and to distribute, heroin and fentanyl, was sentenced to time served — more than three years — by Senior U.S. District Judge William M.
