CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE – SHERMAN – Garrett M. Swan, 21, of Trenton, Ga., was charged Sunday night with driving while intoxicated, DWI per se, moving from lane unsafely and unsafe tire. Around 9:45 p.m. Swan was involved in a motor vehicle accident in the town of Sherman and was charged following an investigation.

CALVES INJURED IN BARN FIRE CHAUTAUQUA --- Several calves were injured in a Saturday morning blaze at a farm. At around 5:31 a.m., the Sherman Fire Department and several mutual aid departments responded to the Sherman Livestock Barn at 4151 Route 430 for a reported structure fire.
