JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT — Erin R. Dale, 43, of Jamestown, was charged Sunday with fourth-degree Criminal Mischief, and Resisting Arrest. According to police, at about 5:42 p.m., officers responded to the city’s south side for a report of a domestic incident. Upon further investigation, officers learned that Dale allegedly damaged property during the dispute, and after she was told she was under arrest, Dale attempted to prevent officers from taking her into custody. MAYVILLE — Chautauqua County Sheriff Jim Quattrone issued a statement in response to the body cam footage released from an incident at the Marcy Correctional Facility in Oneida County that resulted in the death of inmate Robert Brooks. CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT — RIPLEY — At around 7:34 a.m. Sunday, deputies responded to a business on Shortman Road for a report of a female who used fraudulent money for a purchase. After a brief investigation, Kimberly Ramey, 47 of Westfield, was found to have used a fake $100 dollar bill and did receive an amount of cash back from the purchase which was stolen from the business. Ramey was charged with petit larceny and third-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument and released with appearance tickets to be in Town Court later.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT — Daric Harris, 56, was charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon and first-degree assault after an incident on Christmas Eve. Officers responded to a residence on the North Side of the city regarding a domestic dispute around 12:30 p.m. Tuesday. During the investigation, it was determined that Harris had struck another male in the household with a shotgun, resulting in a laceration and a fractured forearm.
