Fred Basket lists hours for month On Saturday, June 20, Fred Basket previously known as The Fredonia Food Pantry will be open from 10 a.m. to noon at Fredonia Presbyterian Church at 219 Central Ave. Additionally, it is open on Wednesdays from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. Guests may only receive one helping a month. These new hours hope to serve those who cannot attend on Saturdays the food pantry serves the needs of residents of Fredonia, ZIP code 14063, Pomfret, Sheridan, and Laona. Sheridan plans memorial open house for Langworthy SHERIDAN — The Sheridan Historical Society is hosting a memorial open house in honor of Mary Langworthy on Sunday from noon to 3 p.m. Friends and family are invited to share memories of Langworthy beginning at 1 p.m. Some of her research into the town's early lake history will also be shared, including the story of the schooner Kingbird, which was built in Sheridan about 1815.
