Chautauqua woman dies after vehicle strikes bike

CHAUTAUQUA --- A bicyclist has died after an accident last week on Chautauqua-Stedman Road, law enforcement officials reported Monday. At 12:55 p.m. Thursday, the Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office, Chautauqua Fire Department, and Chautauqua County Emergency Services responded a reported motor vehicle accident involving a bicycle. An investigation found the operator of the vehicle, Levi J Graham, 19, of Ashville, failed to safely pass a bicyclist while traveling south. South Dayton man pleads guilty to enticement, sex with girl

A South Dayton man has pleaded guilty to enticement and having sex with a 14-year-old girl. U.S. Attorney Michael DiGiacomo announced Thursday that Ronald A. Howard, 59, entered the plea before U.S. District Judge John L. Sinatra, Jr. It carries a mandatory minimum penalty of 10 years in prison and a maximum of life.
