SINCLAIRVILLE — The Sinclairville Free Library Board of Trustees invites the public to the library’s Holiday Open House to be held today, Dec. 13 from 6 to 8 p.m.

Representatives from the local Girl Scouts Daisy and Brownie Troops 20255 and Junior Troop 24004 have decorated the library in preparation for the event, with help from library volunteers Catherine Obert, Ainsley Smith and Karyn Okerlund, who have created a book Christmas tree in what has become an annual tradition. The CVCS Valley Minstrels will perform at 7 p.m., with refreshments to be served following their concert. This event is free and open to the public, and is one way of saying “thank you” to the community for their support.

The library’s Annual Appeal to raise funds for the coming year is underway, with $1,000 more to be raised to meet this year’s goal. All are welcome to join in  the celebration the holiday season! The library will be closed for the holidays on Saturday, Dec. 24; Monday, Dec. 26; Saturday, Dec. 31 and Monday, Jan. 2. Call 962-5885 with any questions.
