Fredonia Farmers Market
The Fredonia Farmers’ Market is held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Saturday November through mid-May at the Masonic Lodge, 321 E. Main St., Fredonia. It features a variety of vendors, with special events TBA.
Fredonia Food Pantry
The Fredonia Food Pantry, Fredonia Presbyterian Church, 219 Central Ave., will be open from 10 a.m, to noon. The pantry serves the needs of Fredonia area code 14063, Pomfret, Sheridan and Laona. All guests receive one or more bags of non-perishable food. Number of bags given out depends on family size.
Chautauqua Safety Village Easter carnival
Chautauqua Safety Village at 2695 Route 394, Ashville, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Admission includes: Bounce house fun, games, crafts, train rides, cars track, Easter candy from the village buildings, and a visit with the Easter Bunny (can take a picture with him). Available for purchase: Kettle corn, 50/50 and basket raffle tickets, food and drink. Admission: $5 per person. Children 2 and under are free. Purchase tickets on the website or at the gate.

Lakeshore Humane Society Saturday open adoption hours
The Lakeshore Humane Society, 431 E. Chestnut St., Dunkirk, will hold open adoption hours from noon to 3 p.m. The public is welcome to see the dogs and cats in need of loving homes. Tours of the facility will not be given. Individual appointments are available throughout the week by leaving a message at 716 672-1991; press “1” for dogs or “2” for cats. Audubon Sunday Storytime
Children ages 2 to 8 and their caregivers are invited to a free nature-based storytime at the Audubon Community Nature Center, 1600 Riverside Road, Jamestown from 12:30 to 1 p.m. Sunday admission is also free. Hanover Democratic Club Dingus Day Dinner
The Firehouse on the Lake, 23 Jackson St., Silver Creek. 5 to 8 p.m. Tickets are $15 per person and dining options include dine in or take out.
