Welcome visit

John and Bev Ruska of Sheridan had a pleasant surprise when recently, Bev Ruska looked out a window and saw a pileated woodpecker in their yard, busily chipping away at a tree stump. The pileated is the largest woodpecker in our country, now that the ivory-billed woodpecker of our southern forests is crictically endangered. The couple had not seen one of these 15 inch long birds in many years. The Ruskas hope for a return visit soon.

Starting at $3.50/week.
