Silver Creek Seniors meet

SILVER CREEK – The Silver Creek Seniors met on Nov. 21 with 28 people in attendance. Vice President Janice Snyder opened the meeting with the Pledge to the Flag and all singing “God Bless America.” Chaplain Pauline Flitt read “Giving thanks for blessings past and present.” Members enjoyed the catered Thanksgiving lunch with several pies and desserts.

Door Prizes were won by Janice and Tony Borrello. The 50-50 winners were Sally Shevlin, Al Wilson and Eleanor Lemiszko. Wheel of Fortune winners included Carol DePasquale, Dixie Carlson, Al, Max Church, Enabell Mirando and Pauline. Janice called bingo and the winners were: Max (twice), Sally, Joan Suski (twice), Becky Fancher, Deanna Borrello, Carol, Candy Weitz and Ginny Chesbro.

On Tuesday the group will have a potluck lunch. The meeting ended with all singing “Young at Heart.” Silver Creek Senior Citizens meets every Tuesday at 1 p.m. Anyone over the age of 62 can attend. Call Lorrie for information at 716-934-2170.
