Trinity Episcopal Church holds annual parish meeting

Trinity Episcopal Church in Fredonia held its annual parish meeting on Sunday, January 27, 2019, following the 10:30 a.m. worship service. The gathering included a chili luncheon with breads, salads and desserts. The meeting provided a review of the mission and events in the life of the parish in 2018, in addition to electing new members of vestry and representatives to the 2019 Diocesan Convention. Catholic Education Dinner at the Buffalo Niagara Convention Center

BUFFALO — The 19th annual Catholic education dinner — GALA 22:6 — will be held Thursday, January 31, 2019, at the Buffalo Niagara Convention Center. Proceeds from the dinner will be used to fund needs-based tuition assistance for students attending Catholic elementary schools throughout the eight counties of Western New York. The 2018 dinner raised $353,708 resulting in 295 scholarships created. NCCS to hold open house Thursday

Northern Chautauqua Catholic School will host an Open House on Thursday, Jan. 31 from 6-8 p.m. during National Catholic Schools Week. NCCS is located at 336 Washington Avenue, Dunkirk. The meaning of Christ

We are about half way through the season that follows the Christmas season known as Epiphany. Epiphany means a revealing. We use this season to remember how God has revealed His promised Savior to all people. He is Jesus of Nazareth in Galilee, born in Bethlehem, also called the Christ.
