Jamestown Police seeking larceny suspect

The Jamestown Police Department is looking for a female larceny suspect who robbed the Robo Mini-Mart.

Police were called Sunday to Robo Mini-Mart, 817 N. Main St., for a larceny of a donation canister for St. Susans Soup Kitchen.

The female, seen in the surveillance photo, is a white female believed to be in her 20s wearing a light blue top taking the canister just before 4 p.m.

Police are asking anyone who may have information on the identity of this female to call 483-7537 or an anonymous tip can be left a 483-8477. All calls will be kept confidential.

Gowanda woman charged after accident

ASHFORD – On Saturday, Amanda H. John, 35, of Gowanda was charged with leaving the scene of a property damage accident and refusal to submit to a breath test.

The incident occurred on Saturday at about 2 a.m. The Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office investigated and made the charges.
