ELLINGTON — On March 12 at 11:50 a.m., deputies responded to Route 62 for a motor vehicle accident. Linda Johnson, 74, of Ellington, was traveling southbound on Route 62 when she apparently failed to negotiate a curve in the roadway. Her vehicle reportedly struck two guide rails. The Ellington and Kennedy Fire Departments arrived on scene and extricated Johnson from her vehicle. She was then transported to UPMC Chautauqua to be evaluated for apparent minor injuries.
