≤ RANDOLPH — On March 29, troopers pulled over a vehicle on Main Street for the driver not wearing her seatbelt. While speaking to the driver, troopers observed the passenger, Melissa Ecker, 37, of Panama, make suspicious movements and attempt to conceal items. Further investigation allegedly revealed that Ecker was in possession of a bag containing nine grams of methamphetamine, two straws containing methamphetamine residue, four hydrocodone pills and a bag containing multiple glassine envelopes.

The driver was issued a traffic ticket and Ecker was placed under arrest and charged with two counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, second-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia and possession of controlled substances by ultimate users original container.

Ecker was processed at State Police Jamestown and issued appearance tickets. She is scheduled to appear in the town of Randolph Court on a later date to answer the charges.

≤ FALCONER — On March 30, troopers pulled over a vehicle for committing a traffic violation at the intersection of South Dow and West Main streets.

After allegedly failing several sobriety tests the driver, Alexandria Renner, 26, of Randolph, was placed under arrest. Troopers also said they smelled marijuana emanating from inside Renner’s vehicle, and upon searching the vehicle, allegedly located a bag containing approximately six grams of cocaine, a bag containing approximately 12 grams of marijuana and a pipe containing marijuana residue.

Renner was charged with driving while intoxicated, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana. She was transported to State Police Jamestown, where she provided a breath sample of .08.

Renner was then processed, issued tickets returnable to the town of Ellicott Court and released. she is scheduled to appear in the town of Ellicott Court on a later date to answer the charges.

≤ STEAMBURG — On March 30, troopers pulled over a vehicle on West Perimeter Road for driving erratically.

While speaking to the driver, Michelle Swab, 47, of Warren, Pennsylvania, troopers said they smelled marijuana emanating from inside the vehicle. A search of Swab, passenger Karen Denardi, 61, of Warren, and the vehicle allegedly revealed the following items: a plastic bag containing approximately 12 grams of methamphetamine, a pipe containing methamphetamine residue, a straw containing methamphetamine residue, three hydrocodone pills in an unmarked container, a loose hydrocodone pill, two bags containing a total of approximately 28 grams of marijuana and two pipes containing marijuana residue.

Denardi was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of marijuana and controlled substances by ultimate users original container.

Swab was charged with DWAI-drugs, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of marijuana and controlled substances by ultimate users original container.

Denardi was processed at State Police Jamestown and released with appearance tickets. A New York State Police Drug Recognition Expert evaluated Swab and concluded she was under the influence of methamphetamine and several prescription medications.

A urine sample was secured from Swab, and after being processed, Swab was released with traffic and appearance tickets. Both Swab and Denardi are scheduled to appear in the town of Cold Spring Court on a later date to answer the charges.

≤ RANDOLPH — On March 30, troopers responded to Elm Creek Road for a report of an occupied vehicle parked in front of a residence.

Upon arrival, the driver, Malachi Graham, 23, of Grove City, PA, advised troopers that his vehicle broke down. Graham allegedly displayed signs of being under the influence of a central nervous system stimulant, and was placed under arrest after failing several sobriety tests.

A search of Graham, the vehicle and the passenger, Kody Slater, 27, of Stone Borough, PA, allegedly revealed the following items: 29 glassine bags used for packaging narcotics, a plastic bag containing approximately 10 grams of methamphetamine, eight marijuana cigarettes, six small bags containing a total of 14 grams of methamphetamine and a hypodermic needle.

Graham was charged with DWAI-drugs, unlawful possession of marijuana, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and second-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia.

Slater was charged with criminally possessing a hypodermic instrument, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and second-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia.

Both Graham and Slater were transported to State Police Jamestown and processed for their respective charges. Graham and Slater were then arraigned in the town of Conewango Court and sent to the Cattaraugus County Jail.

¯ STOW — On April 1, troopers pulled over a vehicle on I-86 for a traffic violation. While speaking to the driver, Donald Held, 67, of Angola, troopers said they smelled marijuana emanating from inside the vehicle. Held was reportedly found to be in possession of six grams of marijuana.

He was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana and issued an appearance ticket and a traffic ticket.

Westfield Police

≤ On April 2 at about 9 a.m., Richard A. Conway Jr., 39, of Westfield, was arrested for petit larceny and criminal possession of stolen property, after an investigation into a larceny that occurred on or around March 3 in Westfield. It is alleged that Conway took property from a residence on North Portage Street and withheld it without permission. Conway was issued appearance tickets and will answer his charges in Village of Westfield Court at a later date.
