¯ CLYMER — On May 10, at about 6:50 p.m. the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office was called to investigate a narcotics investigation located in the town of Clymer. The investigation reportedly revealed that Kathryn M. Burnett, 34, of Clymer, allegedly provided marijuana to a juvenile.

On Friday, Burnett turned herself in on an arrest warrant for second-degree criminal sale of marijuana and endangering the welfare of a child. Burnett was taken to the Chautauqua County Jail, pending arraignment.

¯ RIPLEY — On May 13, after an investigation was completed by the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office and the (STRDTF) Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force, a search warrant was obtained for and executed at 5 Goodrich St. in the town of Ripley.

At about 11 p.m. The Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office SWAT Team, made entry into 5 Goodrich St. and an individual, Johnathan M. Ballew, 26, was taken into custody. A search of the residence allegedly located a quantity of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Ballew was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana and second-degree criminal use of drug paraphernalia. He will appear in Ripley Town Court at a later date.
