¯ BROCTON — At 12:15 p.m. Wednesday, sheriff’s deputies conducted a warrant check on Old Mill Road in the village. Amanda J. Mecca, 35, was located inside of the residence.

Mecca had a warrant for her arrest for being a Fugitive From Justice for charges stemming from an incident that occurred in the state of Pennsylvania. Mecca was transported to Chautauqua County Jail for holding.

¯ MAYVILLE — Chautauqua County sheriff’s deputies conducted a warrant check at the Family Court Office Building. Deputies located, Raechel S. Connell of Jamestown who had an active warrant out of the city of Jamestown.

Further investigation revealed Connell was found to be in possession of prescription suboxone in which she did not have a prescription for. Connell was transported by Deputies to the Jamestown City Jail. Connell was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and is scheduled to be in Chautauqua town court at a later date.
