Silver Creek man charged with unlawful imprisonment

SILVER CREEK — A village man is accused of keeping a woman in a residence against her will.

According to the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office, on Saturday at about 6 a.m. officers were called to 46 Robinson St., in the Village of Silver Creek, for a reported unlawful imprisonment.

Through an investigation it was alleged that Branden Moore, 21, intentionally held another person against her will, after shoving that individual to the ground. Following the incident Moore fled the scene and was located a short time later by State Police.

Moore was taken into custody and charged with second-degree unlawful imprisonment and second-degree harassment.

Moore was subsequently transported to Chautauqua County’s Jail for the centralized arraignment program.
