¯ On Feb. 9, William E. Jackson Jr., 32, of Dunkirk was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

¯ On Feb. 14, Mary L. Heary, 44, of Forestville was charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

¯ On Feb. 15, Juan Rosado Vazquez, 19, of Dunkirk was charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, failure to stop and insufficient turning signal.

¯ On Feb. 15, Thomas D. Petz, 39, of Lily Dale was charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, no insurance and failure to yield the right of way.

¯ On Feb. 15, Sonia Camacho, 30, of Dunkirk was charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and inadequate stop lights.

¯ On Feb. 16, Luis F. Davila Cruz, 34, of Syracuse was charged with DWI, DWI with 0.08 percent or higher, prescreen refusal, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and no turn signal.

¯ On Feb. 16, Michael F. Laspesa, 37, of Irving was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal trespass.

¯ On Feb. 19, Frederick Brown, 34, of Brocton was charged with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, broken windshield and failure to signal.

¯ On Feb. 19, Luis E. Rivera-Hernandez, 31, of Dunkirk was charged with second-degree obstruction and trespassing. On Feb. 23 he was then charged with petit larceny, third-degree unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and trespassing.

¯ On Feb. 21, Philip M. Whitfield, 27, of Fredonia was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief, petit larceny, unlicensed and leaving the scene.

¯ On Feb. 22, Jordan J. Warrick, 33, of Dunkirk was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

¯ On Feb. 22, Melinda A. Kellogg, 33, of Dunkirk was charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and suspended registration.

¯ On Feb. 23, Kevin Y. Dejesus-Rivera, 28, of Dunkirk was charged with petit larceny.

¯ On Feb. 23, Ian Christopher, 26, of Dunkirk was charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property.

¯ On Feb. 25, Paul R. Dunn III, 37, of Brocton was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

On Feb. 25, Gabriel M. Soto, 27, of Dunkirk was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief, possession of burglary tools and possession of a hypodermic needle.

¯ On Feb. 26, Tito L. Acevado, 39, of Fredonia was charged with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, unlicensed operation and insufficient signal.

¯ On Feb. 28, James M. Corbin III, of Dunkirk was charged with DWI, DWI with .08 percent or higher, refusal of a prescreen and fail to stop at a stop sign.

¯ On March 1, Essence A. Brooks, 18, of Fredonia was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief.

¯ On March 2, Kirtus Warrior, 40, of Dunkirk was charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and no headlights.

¯ On March 2, Gary Linger, 38, of Sinclairville was charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, insufficient signal and failure to charge address.

¯ On March 2, Germaine M. Dias, 43, of Dunkirk was charged with three counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana.

¯ On March 2, Bryan Novarro, 29, of Silver Creek was charged with third-degree assault.

¯ On March 3, Lori A. Diehl, 47, of Jamestown was charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and passing a red light.

Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office

¯ HANOVER — On March 4, Angus D. Jimerson, 34, of Gowanda was charged with failure to stop at a stop sign, failure to notify DMV of address change, driving while intoxicated, aggravated DWI – blood alcohol content greater than .18%.

At about 06:30 a.m., Sheriff’s Deputies observed an intersection with a clearly marked stop sign, and without stopping, proceed into the intersection. Deputies stopped the vehicle and identified its operator. Following further investigation into the incident, Deputies arrested and charged Jimerson.

He was released with tickets and is scheduled to appear in the Town of Hanover court at later date.

¯ CHARLOTTE — On Feb. 29, Peter J. Kalfas, 60, of Dunkirk was charged with driving while intoxicated common law (felony), DWI per se and leaving the scene of a property damage accident.

At around 7:30 p.m., deputies responded to a report of a vehicle in the ditch. Deputies located the vehicle on North Hill Road after it had left the scene. Further investigation found that the operator was allegedly operating the vehicle in an intoxicated state. Kalfas was taken into custody and charged.

He was taken to Chautauqua County Jail and held for arraignment.

¯ PANAMA — On March 6, Kristopher M. Black, 23, of Sherman was charged with driving while intoxicated, DWI per se having .08% or higher blood alcohol content, operating while registration suspended, failing to stop at stop sign and failing to dim headlamps.

At about 1:30 a.m., deputies stopped a vehicle for an observed traffic violation on South Street. Further investigation found that Black was allegedly operating the vehicle while intoxicated. Black was arrested and charged.

He was released with appearance tickets.

¯ ELLERY — On Sunday, Heather I. Wagner, 34, of Jamestown was arrested for allegedly driving while intoxicated and speed in zone.

At about 8:50 p.m., Sheriff’s Deputies stopped a vehicle on Route 430 for speeding. Wagner was allegedly found to be intoxicated and was taken into custody. After processing, Wagner was released with traffic tickets.

She will appear in Town of Ellery Court at a later date to answer charges.

¯ BUSTI — On Saturday, Jamie L. Burnett, 43, of Lakewood was charged with driving while intoxicated, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and refusal of breath test.

At about 8:30 p.m., Sheriff’s Deputies observed an intoxicated subject get into a vehicle and drive onto a public highway. Deputies made contact with the male and identified him. After failing field sobriety tests, Burnett was taken into custody for allegedly driving while intoxicated. A check of Jamie Burnett’s driving history showed that his privileges to operate a motor vehicle in NYS had been suspended.

During processing deputies said Burnett refused a breath test.

Burnett was released with traffic tickets and will appear in Town of Busti Court at a later date to answer charges.
