¯ PORTLAND — On March 12, Quentin J. Lawton, 25 was charged with first-degree criminal contempt (class E felony), second-degree harassment and resisting arrest.

At about 8 p.m. Sheriff’s Deputies responded to an address for a reported harassment complaint. The victim alleged unwanted contact from Lawton. Investigation revealed there was a valid order of protection against Lawton to refrain from contact with the victim.

Deputies located Lawton at a residence in the town of Stockton and allegedly resisted arrest from deputies. Lawton was taken into custody and was transported to the Sheriff’s Office where he was charged.

Lawton was transported to the county jail for centralized arraignment.

¯ SILVER CREEK — On March 15, Michael B. Kleckner, 35 was charged with first-degree criminal contempt, second-degree unlawful imprisonment, fourth-degree criminal mischief, second-degree harassment, endangering the welfare of a child and resisting arrest.

At around 1 p.m., deputies responded to a reported disturbance at a residence on Angell Road. Upon arrival, deputies identified the suspect and discovered he had allegedly damaged multiple items inside the residence. It was also alleged that Michael had grabbed another subject by the hair and pulled that person by it. Kleckner also stopped one of the victims from leaving the residence during the events. The subject that had the hair pulled was also found to have a valid order of protection against Michael that he was violating.

Deputies said these actions took place in front of a minor child at the residence. Kleckner then resisted arrest when deputies attempted to take him into custody.

Kleckner was subsequently charged and transported to the Chautauqua County Jail for Centralized Arraignment to answer to the charges out of the Town of Hanover.

¯ MAYVILLE — On March 15, Jesse L. Kresek, 31 was charged with driving while intoxicated, DWI per se, disorderly conduct, unsafe starting, inadequate muffler and uninspected motor vehicle.

At approximately 2 a.m., Sheriff deputies stopped a vehicle in the village of Mayville for multiple alleged traffic violations. Through investigation it was alleged that the operator of the vehicle was operating the vehicle while intoxicated. Kresek was taken into custody and charged. Kresek was later released with tickets to appear in the Town of Chautauqua Court at a later date.

≤ RIPLEY — A North East, Pa. woman faces driving while intoxicated charges after she got into an accident late Friday night. She was injured while fleeing the scene, according to police.

At about 11:56 p.m., Chautauqua County sheriff’s deputies responded to a motor vehicle accident on Route 20 in the town. Upon arrival, deputies learned that the operator of the vehicle had fled the scene into a nearby vineyard.

After a search of the area, deputies located the operator and identified her as Crystal D. Dorman, 45. Dorman was found to be intoxicated and charged with driving while intoxicated, moved from lane unsafely and leaving the scene of a property damage accident.

Due to injuries Dorman sustained while running along railroad tracks after fleeing the scene, she was transported to Hamot Medical Center in Erie, Pa. by Ripley EMS for evaluation of non-life threatening injuries.

≤ On Saturday morning, Angel G. Ramos, 21 was arrested for alleged felony driving while intoxicated under Leandra’s Law, DWAI drugs, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, endangering the welfare of a child, second-degree criminal contempt, failure to dim headlights and no/insufficient headlights.

At 12:57 a.m., deputies of the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office stopped a vehicle in the town of Dunkirk for multiple alleged traffic violations. Through investigation it was discovered that the operator of the vehicle was operating the vehicle while intoxicated and did also have a child less than one year old in the vehicle.

Further investigation revealed that Ramos was also in violation of a court-ordered order of protection, as well as operating on a suspended state driver’s license. Ramos was taken into custody and charged. Ramos was transported to the Chautauqua County Jail pending centralized arraignment.
