Man charged over smashing vehicle

RANDOLPH — A domestic incident on Phillips Brook Road led to charges for a town resident for damaging his stepfather’s vehicle.

Cattaraugus County sheriff’s deputies Sunday morning reported that Tyler P. Conway, 24, of 2287 Phillips Brook Road, took a baseball bat and shovel to the hood, tailgate, door of a Chevrolet Tahoe around 5:30 p.m. Thursday, and also broke all the windows. He was charged with second-degree criminal mischief and was released after being arraigned in town court.

Woman arrested as fugitive

FALCONER — A Jamestown woman is likely headed back to Pennsylvania to answer charges after a traffic stop Sunday.

State Police in Jamestown arrested Stephanie Dellahoy, 31, as a fugitive from justice.

Dellahoy was pulled over on East Main Street for traffic violations. A check of Dellahoy’s license revealed that she was wanted by the Erie County Sheriff Department in Pennsylvania for retail theft. Dellahoy was placed under arrest, processed at State Police in Jamestown and transported to the Chautauqua County Jail, pending arraignment.

Traffic stop leads to drug charges

CHAUTAUQUA — A Jamestown woman pulled over by law enforcement is facing drug charges after an incident Saturday.

Chautauqua County sheriff’s deputies report they stopped a vehicle on Route 394 for a traffic violation. The operator of the vehicle was identified as Christine M. Baca, 26. An investigation into the incident revealed that Baca was operating the vehicle while impaired by drugs and was in possession of a hypodermic instrument.

Baca was also operating on a suspended driver’s license. Baca was charged with driving while intoxicated on drugs, criminally possessing a hypodermic instrument, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, uninspected motor vehicle and visibility distorted/broken glass.

She is to be in the town of Chautauqua court at a later date.
