Quilt Guild gathers Nov. 17

The Northern Chautauqua Quilting Companions guild will meet Wednesday, Nov. 17, at the Harvest Chapel in Fredonia. The group will working on the T-shirt quilts and having a meeting. Members are asked to bring supplies of sewing machine and cord, cutting mat, rotary cutter, iron and small ironing board.

Health Board meets Nov. 18

MAYVILLE — Members of the Chautauqua County Board of Health will hold their bimonthly meeting at 6 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 18, in the HRC Building, B-14, basement level conference room, 7 N. Erie St., Mayville. Comments received from the public will be accepted as communications, and not read during privilege of the floor. Public comments at the meetings during the privilege of the floor must be made in person. Anyone not fully vaccinated against COVID-19 must wear a mask and social distance while in the building. Fully vaccinated individuals are encouraged to wear masks while in the building.

Auxiliary monthly meeting set for Nov. 9

The Dunkirk Memorial American Legion Unit 62 Auxiliary monthly meeting is scheduled for Tuesday at 7 p.m. at 211 Central Ave. Auxiliary members are encouraged to attend and new members are always welcome.

Harvest ham dinner Saturday

BROCTON — On Saturday from 4 to 7 p.m., Tri-Church Parish will host its annual Harvest Ham Dinner. Due to COVID-19, we will be following restrictions.

It will be the same beloved dinner as served in past years. The dinner will be available as take-out only with no advance sales. Those purchasing dinners will go to the church’s upper parking lot and then down to the lower parking lot to purchase and pick-up food.

The menu is ham, mashed potatoes, squash, applesauce, roll and butter — complete with a choice of a piece of homemade pie. The cost is $15 for those ages 10 and up, $10 for ages 5-9 and free for those under the age of 4.
