CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

¯ FRENCH CREEK — Jason C. Wible, 49, of Franklin, Pa., was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicarted-child in vehicle, driving while intoxicated, refusal to take breath test, failure to stop at a stop sign and failure to signal. Deputies stopped a vehicle at 11:36 p.m. Friday on Conway Road in the town of French Creek. The driver was identified as Wible, who was allegedly found to be driving while intoxicated. Wible was processed and is scheduled to appear in court later.

GOWANDA POLICE DEPARTMENT

¯ Darius Blasdell, 24, of Collins, was charged with second-degree criminal trespassing following an incident on Jan. 17. At just after 1 a.m., Blasdell allegedly broke into a local business with no permission and remained in the property. Blasdell is scheduled to appear in Collins Town Court later.

¯ Daniel Miller, 52, of Gowanda, was charged with second-degree harassment, criminal obstruction of breathing, and first-degree criminal contempt. At 4:20 p.m. on Jan. 24, patrol responded to a reported disturbance at a residence on Palmer Street. Patrol was informed that Miller was allegedly involved in a verbal altercation with a female acquaintance, which escalated into a physical altercation with Miller allegedly slamming the woman’s head into the dashboard of a vehicle, then intentionally choking her. Miller’s actions were in violation of an order of protection issued by Family Court. Miller is scheduled to appear in Persia Town Court later.

¯ Crystal McClarney, 38, of Salamanca, was charged with trespassing on Jan. 28. At 10:30 p.m., patrol responded to an alarm at a closed Buffalo Street business. While investigating, McClarney was discovered hiding in the business. She is scheduled to appear in Collins Town Court later.

¯ Juan G. Martinez, 23, of Gowanda, was charged with second-degree assault, second-degree menacing, and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon following an occurrence on Feb. 3. At just before 9 p.m., patrol responded to a St. Johns Street residence for report of a possible stabbing. Patrol was informed that Martinez was involved in a verbal altercation with a female acquaintance, which escalated into an altercation where Martinez retrieved a kitchen knife and threatened to kill the woman. After an ensuing scuffle, Martinez caused a minor injury to the woman’s arm with the knife. Martinez is scheduled to appear in Persia Town Court later.
