WESTFIELD POLICE DEPARTMENT
¯ Rodrigo Salazar Bautista, 28, of Dunkirk, was charged with driving while intoxicated, aggravated DWI, refusal to submit to alert test and parking on pavement. Officers were called at 5:02 p.m. on Tuesday to a report of a vehicle allegedly parked at an intersection with the driver slumped over the wheel. Officers and sheriff’s deputies were able to wake the driver. Salazar Bautista is scheduled to appear in court later.
CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
¯ WESTFIELD — Edward A. Wood, 52, of Westfield, was charged with criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation and second-degree unlawful imprisonment. Deputies responded at 1:52 p.m. on Tuesday to Felton Road in the town of Westfield for a reported altercation. Wood was found to have allegedly engaged in an altercation with another person. He was transported to Chautauqua County Jail for centralized arraignment.
