CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT

— SILVER CREEK — At 6:18 p.m. Saturday, deputies responded to a residence on Main Street for a report of a neighbor dispute. After a brief investigation it was determined that Amber L. Devore, 28, of Silver Creek did harass another individual by threatening to subject them to physical contact. Devore was issued a ticket for second-degree harassment and will be in court later.

— STOCKTON — Before 1 a.m. Saturday, deputies conducted a traffic stop on Stockton-Hartfield Road. The operator of the vehicle was identified as Tate J. Olson, 20. Further investigation found Olson to be driving while intoxicated. Olson was charged with DWI, DWI per se, consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle, and moving from lane Unsafely. Olson will be in town court later.

— STOCKTON — At about 3:22 p.m., deputies stopped an ATV for operating on a public highway on State Route 60 in the village of Cassadaga and town of Stockton. The operator was identified as Riley Priest. A DMV license check of Priest revealed he had a suspended license with 28 suspensions on it. Priest was issued traffic tickets and is to be in Stockton Town Court at a later date.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

— Patrick W. Kinney, 24, of Jamestown, was charged with second-degree assault.

At around 8:45 p.m. Saturday, officers responded to the South Side of Jamestown for the report of an unwanted person. The victim requested that officers remove Kinney from the residence. Through further investigation it was found that Patrick threw a full beer can at the victim, causing injury. Kinney was taken into custody and transported to the city jail.

— Branden J. Ryan, 21, of Jamestown, was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

At around 4:42 p.m. Saturday, officers observed Ryan on the South side of Jamestown. Officers had previous knowledge that he had outstanding warrants through the department. Officers charged Ryan and located a small quantity of methamphetamine. He was transported to the city jail, where he was being held pending arraignment.

— Lukeus C. Swartz, 20, of Jamestown, is facing two counts of first-degree criminal contempt charges.

At 5:41 p.m. Friday, officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for an observed infraction. Upon investigation, officers learned that the operator Swartz was violating an order of protection against two victims who were present in the vehicle as well.

Swartz was taken into custody and transported to the Jamestown city jail. He was being held pending arraignment in city court.
