JAMESTOWN – Two Jamestown residents face drug charges after a raid on West Eighth Street on Wednesday. At 10:23 a.m. Wednesday, members of the of the Jamestown Metro Drug Task Force and Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office narcotics investigators executed a search warrant at 218 W. Eighth St. Prior to the execution of the search warrant, Katiria Cruz-Torres, 39, of Jamestown was allegedly seen leaving the residence in a vehicle and was pulled over by Jamestown police officers and detained. JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT - Shawn M. Paprocki, 39, was charged May 26 with resisting arrest, and having an outstanding arrest warrant. According to police, at about 3:04 a.m., officers were responding to a domestic dispute. When responding, police said, officers located Paprocki walking downtown. Officers were aware that Paprocki had an outstanding arrest warrant as well. Police said officers attempted to stop Paprocki, and Paprocki allegedly attempted to flee on foot. OFFICIALS CONFIRM IDENTIFY OF BODY DISCOVERED IN LAKE Officials with the Erie County Medical Examiner’s Office have confirmed that the body pulled from Chautauqua Lake Saturday morning is that of Daniel “Scott” Emerson. Around 8:45 a.m. the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office received a call of a possible body on the shoreline near the Stow Ferry in North Harmony.
