CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT - Andrew W. Scott, 47, of Mayville was charged Jan. 28 with third-degree assault, and fourth-degree criminal mischief. According to officials, at about 7:17 p.m., deputies responded to an address in the Village of Mayville for a physical altercation in-progress. Upon further investigation, it is alleged Scott broke multiple items inside a residence during the altercation, along with also having struck another person with a shovel causing minor injuries. JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT - Brandon J. Whitmore, 41, of Jamestown was charged Jan. 25 with aggravated driving while intoxicated, DWI per se, and other traffic violations. According to police, at about 5:45 p.m., officers responded to a report of a vehicle stuck in the snow at Falconer and Cowing streets. Upon further investigation, it was found that Whitmore allegedly was operating the motor vehicle while intoxicated. JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT - Josniel Morales, 23, of Jamestown, was charged Jan. 25 with four counts of second-degree criminal contempt, and having outstanding arrest warrants. According to police, at about 3:30 p.m., officers responded to a Southside address to conduct a warrant check. Upon arrival, officers were aware of an order of protection between the involved people. CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT - Trever J. Kneer, 26, of Sherman, was charged Jan. 20 with third-degree criminal mischief. According to officials, at about 2:29 p.m., deputies were dispatched to a past tense altercation at a residence in the Village Of Sherman. Upon further investigation it was discovered that Kneer allegedly did intentionally cause damage to a vehicle, which resulted in damages over $250.
