Police: Man tried to run ex off road Dunkirk police arrested a man after he allegedly tried to run his ex-girlfriend off the road. Police took a walk-in complaint at about 12:30 p.m. Thursday for a female who stated that her ex-boyfriend, Jorge Davila Jr., age 36, had just attempted to run her off the road and chase her. Davila had an order of protection directing him to stay away from the woman. Waite, 27 , of Ellicott was charged with two counts of third-degree assault, three counts of endangering the welfare of a child, one count of third-degree criminal mischief and three counts of second-degree unlawful imprisonment on Tuesday after Ellicott police responded to a disorderly person call where it is alleged Waite was disorderly and began assaulting other people.
