CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT — DEWITTVILLE — Deputies responded to a single vehicle auto accident on Bayview Road at 7:02 p.m. Wednesday. Upon arrival deputies did notice a vehicle up on the grass with one occupant receiving medical attention. The driver was identified as Cal C. Neurohr, 28, of Stockton. Deputies did notice multiple empty beer cans in the vehicle and upon questioning the driver did admit to having a couple fireball shooters prior to the crash. Neurohr was charged with DWI and failure to keep right and will be in Ellery town court later. — ...

DUNKIRK MAN CHARGED IN STABBING A Dunkirk man is facing second-degree assault and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon charges after a stabbing last week on Franklin Avenue. Dunkirk Police report around 9:30 p.m. Thursday, they received a tip that a male was stabbed. Officers made contact with the victim and after a short investigation it was determined the victim was stabbed once by Christian J. Rodriguez-Pagan over a verbal argument. CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT — CHAUTAUQUA — At around 1:19 a.m. Saturday, the Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office conducted a traffic stop on Route 430. The operator was identified as Ronald T. Andres, 57 of Lancaster. Further investigation found Andres was driving while intoxicated. Andres was charged with DWI, and aggravated DWI, and speed in zone. JAMESTOWN POLICE - Stephanie L. Curtis, 34, of Jamestown was charged with third-degree assault and two counts of fourth-degree criminal mischief at 9:57 p.m. Thursday after officers responded to a residence on the city’s west side for a reported physical domestic incident. Curtis allegedly damaged a television remote belonging to another person. The officers’ investigation revealed a separate domestic incident had allegedly taken place on Wednesday involving the same people during which Curtis allegedly threw an ashtray against a wall, causing it to break.
