Cattaraugus Deputies save life with EpiPen

Cattaraugus County Sheriff deputies are being credited with saving a life using an epiPen. On July 26, Stanley Cizdziel was cutting trees with a friend when they encountered a hive of bees. As they dropped the chainsaw and ran back to the truck, Cizdziel was stung approximately 15-20 times. That's the last thing he remembers from the event. Jamestown man convicted on drug, gun charges

A Jamestown man has been found guilty of selling illegal drugs in Cattaraugus County and having a stolen weapon. U.S. Attorney Michael DiGiacomo announced that a federal jury convicted Trenton Grant, 31, of possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, fentanyl, and cocaine, possession of a firearm in furtherance of drug trafficking crimes, and felon in possession of a firearm and ammunition. CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE – HANOVER – Jeffery A. Cook, 58, of South Dayton was charged Monday with second-degree criminal trespassing. Police: Man tried to run ex off road Dunkirk police arrested a man after he allegedly tried to run his ex-girlfriend off the road. Police took a walk-in complaint at about 12:30 p.m. Thursday for a female who stated that her ex-boyfriend, Jorge Davila Jr., age 36, had just attempted to run her off the road and chase her. Davila had an order of protection directing him to stay away from the woman.
