FALCONER - A Falconer man faces several charges after allegedly firing a gun near the Quality Inn in Falconer on June 2. Robert F. Blake, 56, of Falconer was charged with first-degree reckless endangerment, second-degree menacing, prohibited use of a weapon and endangering the welfare of a child at 9:30 p.m. June 2. Ellicott police officers responded to the Quality Inn in Falconer for a report of a man discharging a firearm. CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT — BEMUS POINT – At around 1:06 a.m. Saturday, the Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office conducted a traffic stop on Bemus Point-Ellery Road. The operator was identified as Abigail M. Jenkins, 25, of Rittman, Ohio. Further investigation found Jenkins to be driving while intoxicated. Jenkins was charged with DWI, and speed in zone. City police report at 4:29 p.m. Wednesday, an officer observed a subject in a vehicle in the area of East Fifth Street and Park Avenue with a confirmed warrant out of the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office.
