A Dunkirk man is facing drug charges after a six-month investigation by officers. On Friday, a search warrant was executed at 431 Columbus St. upper apartment in the city. Investigators from the Dunkirk Police Department, the Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office, and Jamestown Police Department executed the search warrant with the Dunkirk Police Special Response Team making the entry. A man who is a resident of both Jamestown and Buffalo is headed to prison for selling illegal drugs. U.S. Attorney Michael DiGiacomo has announced that Nicholas Gaskin, 37, who was convicted of possession with intent to distribute cocaine, was sentenced to serve 3 years and five months in prison by U.S. District Judge John L.
