DUNKIRK POLICE DEPARTMENT Three juveniles are facing charges after being found in a stolen vehicle. Dunkirk police report at about 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, the three were found operating and in possession of a vehicle that was stolen from Courtney Street earlier in the day. The juveniles and the car were located by an off-duty Dunkirk Police Officer who then communicated to officers on patrol. A Jamestown man has been arrested for allegedly threatening to kill a federal agent on social media. U.S. Attorney Michael DiGiacomo has announced that 43-year-old Matthew White, 43 was arrested and charged by criminal complaint with communicating interstate threats, which carries a maximum penalty of five years in prison. Teen charged with rape FREWSBURG – A Jamestown teenager has been charged with rape. According to the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office, in early June 2025 the office’s Criminal Investigation Division took an alleged sex offense complaint. Through investigation of this complaint it was determined that 19 year old Hunter Wilburn engaged in sexual intercourse with another person without their consent. JAMESTOWN WOMAN CHARGED IN CITY ARSON A Jamestown woman has been charged with second-degree arson after a fire investigation at a southside residence in the city. Jamestown police report at 7:35 p.m. Saturday, they responded to a structure fire. During the on-scene investigation, officers found that the fire was intentionally set. JAMESTOWN POLICE - Chelline M. Occhipinti, 42, of Jamestown was charged with petit larceny at 3:59 p.m. Wednesday after officers responded to 108 E. Third St. for a reported larceny. Occhipinti allegedly concealed store merchandise in an attempt to steal it. She was charged, taken to the city jail briefly and released with an appearance ticket. Occhipinti was then charged again at 8:05 a.m. Thursday with second-degree criminal trespass after officers responded to a reported burglary at a north side address.
