City man charged after cocaine and crack located

A Dunkirk man is facing drug charges after a six-month investigation by officers. On Friday, a search warrant was executed at 431 Columbus St. upper apartment in the city. Investigators from the Dunkirk Police Department, the Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office, and Jamestown Police Department executed the search warrant with the Dunkirk Police Special Response Team making the entry. Man with Jamestown ties sentenced to prison for selling cocaine

A man who is a resident of both Jamestown and Buffalo is headed to prison for selling illegal drugs. U.S. Attorney Michael DiGiacomo has announced that Nicholas Gaskin, 37, who was convicted of possession with intent to distribute cocaine, was sentenced to serve 3 years and five months in prison by U.S. District Judge John L. Sinatra, Jr. Assistant U.S. Attorney Joshua A. Violanti, who handled the case, stated that in March 2022, Jamestown Police officers stopped a vehicle in which Gaskin was a passenger. JAMESTOWN POLICE - Justina L. Rivera, 42, of Jamestown was charged with third-degree assault at 11:38 p.m. Monday after officers responded to a south side address for a domestic dispute.
