CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE SINCLAIRVILLE – The cause of a fire at a trailer park remains unknown. On Sunday at around 2:15 p.m. the Sinclairville Fire Department along with Gerry and Cassadaga Fire Departments responded to a reported structure fire at 27 Main St, Lot 9 in the village of Sinclairville. Once the fire was extinguished, the Chautauqua County Fire Investigation Team was requested for an origin and cause investigation. Olean man accused of selling drugs in Jamestown

U.S. Attorney Michael DiGiacomo has announced that a federal grand jury returned an indictment charging Chauncy J. Robinson a/k/a Cbear, 39, of Olean with narcotics conspiracy, which carries a mandatory minimum penalty of 10 years in prison and a maximum of life. Assistant U.S. Attorneys Joshua A. Violanti and Louis A. Testani, who are handling the case, stated that according to the indictment, between 2018, and May 26, 2022, Robinson conspired with Joseph S. CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT — At around 10:15 p.m. Friday, the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on Route 60 in the city of Jamestown. The operator was identified as Kevin R. Martin, 25, of Jamestown. Further investigation found Martin to be operating the motor vehicle while impaired by drugs. Martin was charged with DWAI-drugs, failure to keep right, and third-degree aggravated unlicensed operator. Martin will answer for his charges on a later date and time. Bennett, 40, of Farnham was charged Tuesday with endangering the welfare of a child, unlicensed operator and failed to yield right of way on a left turn Tuesday night following a vehicle accident. It is alleged that around 5:50 p.m. Bennett allowed her unlicensed juvenile daughter to operate the vehicle on Route 5 and 20 which caused a personal injury accident to occur.
