JAMESTOWN POLICE - Illinois D. Jackson, 21, of Jamestown, and Makhai A. Sheehan, 20, of Jamestown were charged after a fight at 6:27 p.m. Monday on the city’s north side. According to a police report officers were flagged down while on patrol. Jackson allegedly became disorderly and shoved another person while they were holding a baby and then allegedly threatened another person during the incident. Officers responded to a second location nearby and reportedly found Jackson, who then allegedly fought with officers. After a brief struggle he was arrested and taken to the city jail. ...

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE – GERRY – Toni Long, 35, and Robert Johnston, 33, both of Sinclairville were both charged on March 29 with second-degree criminal trespass, fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property, and petit larceny. It is alleged that Long and Johnston trespassed on private property on Damon Hill Road on more than one occasion, and took multiple items from the property while on scene without permission. Jamestown man resentenced in 2020 rape case conviction

A Jamestown man has been resentenced in a rape case after a ruling form a higher court. According to District Attorney Jason Schmidt, Dennis Park, 40, was resentenced Monday to 18 years in state prison with 25 years post-release supervision on a conviction of first-degree rape, a class B felony, and 18 years with 25 years post-release supervision on a conviction of first-degree criminal sex act, a class B felony.
